From the west coast of the United States, to Egypt upon the Mediterranean. From the frozen prairies of Canada to the rainy coast of Brittany- my story involves lots of different people, and strange places that have become home.
Art is a process of documentation- places, feelings, and people. I paint to remind myself of the beauty in misunderstanding everything. Throughout this portfolio, I invite you to misinterpret, assume, and take nothing for granted. The collaborative process involves trust- it is important to never take yourself too seriously. The line between fine art and daily life is fine indeed, and I find that I am able to push limits and create unique images with the help of collaborators and models from every direction.
